Good Diet and Nutrition are essential for longevity and fitness of life. Each day we need to consume 50% carbohydrate, 30% protein and 20% Fat. The fat content in food is so easy to achieve as it is hidden in everything. This is usually the one that we go over with that creates all kinds of health problems in the body, primarily heart and liver issues. Good sources of fat are oily fish.
Good wholesome food is essential for a good life. The earlier and good diet combined with excellent nutritional supplements is put into practice the better.
You need to start your day with protein (stems from the greek for first), as it balances the blood sugar levels, and helps your body to replace what has been used in its repair over night. In the same token therefore, a good source of protein (meat, fish, or if vegetarian food combining sources of protein e.g.nuts, seeds) is needed in the last meal of the day also. This is so that the body has the protein it needs to repair itself overnight. Meat & Eggs are power foods of protein, as they contain all the 8 essential amino acids needed daily in our diet.
Another source of food, that we need to think about and essential daily are our carbohydrates. Fruit and veg. 50% of our daily diet needs to consist of these, so we get out daily intake of vitamins and minerals. The more you eat the better.
I will say though that the food we eat today, having been sprayed, even if organic, has a much lower nutritional value than it used to. Therefore it is essential to supplement with a good vitamin and mineral supplement. You can find these at my shop.
